First trip here was my first "meal out" after the whole virus thing. Employees were beyond friendly and delivered my meal straight to my car. Hot italian sub was delicious and hit the spot after a long day. Stay strong guys and thanks!!!

Had a pizza made tonight for the championship games. It's my second time having food from here and the first time I ordered myself. I now understand why my friend told me that the quoted pick up time around 6 can be high. I walked in and they were getting more orders the entire time. After eating the food again I see why. The gentleman working the oven with the beard was very helpful he had my food waiting for me to get taken care of while the young man on the register was helping another guest. Just tried the pizza tonight but I believe this will be a go to place for wings as I saw on there door when I walked in. If any of the side dishes are as good as the pizza count me in. The customer service was great as well. This is by far the best restaurant in the black forest even if there are only a few.

Went for lunch today. Food was excellent. Service was quick I ordered with the big guy steve up front and had a pizza within 10 minutes. Go for the buffalo chicken its wicked good.

Got pizza last night and it was delicious. I dont know what kinda of cheese they use on their pizza but it is the best I've ever had. Pizza was coming out of oven hot and fresh as I walked in door. Must go again. Also if you get a chance try the wings. I was told they make their hot sauce in house and it's a perfect blend of hotness.

Went with my son on Saturday. I was at first a little concerned ad its located in the middle of nowhere. Nothing but a coffee place and liquor store right by it. Food was great. We took it to go and it's the best pizza I've had since moving to the springs. I generally dont post but this matches the pizza I grew up with out east. The manager helped us understand the menu a bit since I've never had there food. I tried both pan and thin pizza. I like their original pan but the New York style thin is perfect. Thank you steve for the help and thank you pies and grinders for making great food.

I am new to the area and wanted to see what this pizza place had to offer. When I arrived I could smell the aroma of the pizza cooking and a see surprising amount of smiles on the faces of the staff. I brought my pizza back home and its was one of the best experiences I've had so far. I've tried other joints but this place in the middle of the woods does it right. Can't wait to make this my regular stop on sundays after work.

This place should be called “Pies & Grinders & Wings & Salads & More". The pizza is, of course, great as are the grinders, but don’t overlook their wings. Big and tasty with just the right amount of heat. The salads are also really good. In fact, they have a fairly extensive menu...much more than the name would suggest. Great food, super bright and clean, and really good people. Love it.

We had family visit last night and since we love LOCAL BUSINESS, we decided to give Pies and Grinders in Briargate a try. First, they were prompt and the staff was courteous friendly and had a spirit of gratitude. Second, the pizza and wings were phenomenal! So happy to have this new local business in Briargate!! Upon entering the establishment I was greeted by the smells of pizza and Philly cheese steak as well as other inviting aromas. The people that work there helped be immediately with my order and about 5 minutes later my order was presented to me hot, fresh, and ready to go. For eight bucks I got a foot long Philly sandwich with fries. The food was awesome and this restaurant is definitely the right choice for whatever yourself or your family might be wanting for dinner. Check em out! You won't be disappointed.

This is my go-to place for pizza. It's locally owned in Black Forest and I don't have to drive into Colorado Springs or Monument. If I don't have pizza I usually get an Italian sausage sandwich. The sausage is sourced locally and the bread is delicious.

I stopped in at Pies and Grinders on Friday April 12th and was in a horrible mood, they recently hired a new young man named Devin. As he took my order he cheered me up and joked with me about my pizza. I had such a friendly and welcoming experience at Pies and Grinders in Black Forest that evening. Thank you for having such a clean, friendly, welcoming business! I will continue to get pizza from Pies and Grinders. Keep that young man around, he has great customer service skills!

Well we saw the great reviews so we thought we'd check it out while we where around black forest. Quite frankly we really liked it a lot. Plus very good service and really great food. We got the calzone and the Philly cheesesteak both are really good. I took some pictures of both of them.Thought they need to have a few more photos so people can what the food looks like. I know that always helps me when checking out new places to try out.

We are pizza snobs originally from Northeast Pennsylvania (the pizza capital of the world). It is so hard finding pizza that does not taste like it began as a frozen round disc or dowsed with an obscene amount of oregano. Black Forest does a great job with making a pizza that has just the right amount of ingredients to give your taste buds a true pizza experience. They have some great combinations that you will not find at any chain shops. We were pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this gem.

The wings at this place are my favorite. Have great flavor and are always hot and fresh when I pick them up. This place is just a little place in a small strip mall but the food and service are always awesome. It is always my first choice for take out. They also serve Pizza and Sandwiches but I haven't really ever tried them. I am addicted to the wings :-)

Courteous staff. Love how they offered more than just pizza. We ordered hot wings and jalapeno poppers. Delicious, had to order more to go! Pizza crust was nice and thin with a little crisp. Will be going back again today.

Best breakfast I have had since moving to Colorado. The owners were extremely friendly and the food was delicious. I had the breakfast burrito with green chili and I'd definitely get it again. Hands down the best pizza I've had in a long time. The crust was perfectly cooked, not too crispy, not too soggy. A very generous size and it tastes even better the next day. The service was good, nice people. They can do a better job keeping the carpet clean and adding some ambience lights would do wonders for the place. Do yourself a favor and try their pizza, it's fantastic!

Moved to the area 6 months ago from Chicago. Finally found a pizza place that is phenomenal in every way. The prices are reasonable and the pizza is fantastic. The fried ravioli and wings are also great.
